Hi, Since this section is  'about us' , I'll tell you about us.  We are professionals in our fifties, ouch. I’m Christine, my breeding background began as a young girl in MI, we had toy poodles.  Dave bred Malamutes/Huskies in NH.  Collectively we have 42 years breeding experience, darn it - we are not young!  Nor are we stupid or inexperienced.  My undergrad is in Computer Engineering, Dave is a satellite engineer.  My MS/PhD is in Anthropology, though my thesis is not complete, due to other priorities in life.  In 1993 I was owned by my first Yorkie. When I saw a Biewer photo in 2005 I fell in love.  Dave and I were both smitten, and like potato chips, just one was not enough, lol!  We are hobbyest breeders in the Piedmont area of Virginia just a few miles from the Blue Ridge and about 70 miles from Washington DC. Dave is an AKC CGC evaluator (Canine Good Citizen) and works with the AKC on local events and shows.  We don't hide behind dogs, forums, frivolous girl clubs (masquerading as breed clubs) or animated graphics, we are real people and this is our wedding photo:

We have children and grandchildren, and they all love the Biewers and the Biewers love them.  Our dogs are show dogs, CH many times over as ADULTS, not puppies, so if you are searching for a quality puppy check the titles, the lines, the breeding philosophy and the qualifications of the breeders.  There are many fine breeders out there, and the *best* usually opt out of the 'breed club' experience because their dogs are superior to 'club' dogs  where politics rule over good lines and health.. We do not have a 'kennel', the kids have their own private room in our home as well as free run of most of the house.  They are always on our heels following us wherever we go.  Mostly they like to be in a lap, or going for a ride, or a walk.  And then of course, there's the never ending game of hide and seek, or fetch!  We have to spell the word 'ball'.  We breed to strive to produce the ideal dog of this breed and create a work of art.   We breed to standard, not 'teacups' or 'tinies' or 'teddy bear' dogs, but sometimes 'life' happens.
